Shared Branching Reference Manual Updates
From time to time we need to make changes to some of the items in the Shared Branching Reference Manual. When these changes are communicated, please make sure you communicate the changes to your staff. Your credit union will then need to update the manual in paper version and/or on your internal intranet. Below are some changes that need to be made to your manuals.
– The contact hours for Network Services has been updated. Please remember they can help your credit union with any question or issue with the exception of the PaCUSC SSC Billing that is e-mailed to your credit union monthly by PaCUSC.
– Updated policies and procedures were distributed in early November. Please make sure your staff is aware of the changes as they take affect on February 1, 2013.
Fee Matrix Explanations
– Attached is the updated fee matrix explanation for your reference. We updated the kiosk fee schedule that was previously communicated to everyone earlier this year.
Shared Branching Whitepaper: Maximizing the Shared Branching Investment
CO-OP Shared Branching recently collaborated with Callahan and Associates to commission a study on the financial performance of credit unions that participate in CO-OP Shared Branching versus those that do not participate.
The study revealed credit unions that participate as an issuer and acquirer fare better in many key metrics in comparison to credit unions that participate as an issuer only. Inviting guest members into their credit union, in addition to allowing their own members access to outlet facilities, maximizes potential investing in shared branching.
The findings of the study have been compiled into a whitepaper that discusses how to improve a credit union’s financial performance in the following areas:
- Balance sheet and revenue growth
- Income opportunities through guest member transactions
- Improved and expanded current member relationships
The whitepaper is available for download
today. Please contact Sandy Shenk with any questions, or for more information.
