R. Joel Slagan, CCUFC, SFE, CUCE, BSACS
 Director, Audit Services
Joel Slagan oversees the audit department activities and staff.
Following honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy in 2000, Slagan moved through various positions within the financial industry. Slagan began his career at the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association in January 2006. Slagan received his Associates Degree in Business Management from Ashworth University and is pursuing his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting. In 2007, he earned a certification as a Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist through the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and was re-certified in 2011. In June 2011, Slagan earned the designation of Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE). Most recently, Joel earned his Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation in November 2012.
Slagan resides in Annville with his wife and two children. He currently coaches a Little League team in Palmyra.
Gregory Westwood, AAP, CUCE, BSACS
Senior Auditor
Westwood joined the Audit department staff in 2009. He earned his certification as a Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Compliance Specialist through the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) in 2009, and his Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) as well as Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) in 2012. Westwood holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to joining the Association, Greg worked for 13 years in various management positions for a large grocery chain.
Westwood resides in Philipsburg with his wife and daughter, and serves as treasurer at the First Church of Christ.
Vanessa Dettmore, BSACS
 Auditor
Vanessa is a graduate of Lock Haven University with a B.S. in Accounting. Prior to joining the Association as an Auditor, she worked at Vantage Trust FCU, Wilkes-Barre. As a resident of Mechanicsburg, she enjoys reading, camping, cheerleading, gymnastics, and spending time with family.
Lauren Peffley, CUCE, BSACS
 Auditor
Lauren is a graduate of Temple University with a B.S.B.A. in Accouning. Currently residing in Lebanon, PA, her hobbies include basketball, reading, snowboarding and spending time with family. Lauren earned her Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) in 2012.
Douglas Rumbaugh, CUCE, BSACS
Auditor
 Doug is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting. He also earned his certification as a Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist through the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) in December 2011 and his Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) in November 2012. Prior to joining the Association in 2011, he worked at Members 1st FCU.
He enjoys kayaking, snowboarding, sports and spending time with friends.
