Local Credit Union Earns Statewide Marketing Award

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA) recently presented its annual publications and Web site awards during its 73rd Annual Convention & Expo held recently at the HERSHEY Lodge in Hershey, PA. The awards honor outstanding achievement in marketing efforts by credit unions for their annual reports, newsletters, and Web sites.
Newsletters are an important marketing tool enabling credit unions to communicate to their members. In the Credit Union Newsletter Contest, awards were given in three asset groups:
Under $20 Million
1st Place — North Penn Federal Credit Union, Colmar
Honorable Mention — Transit Workers Federal Credit Union, Philadelphia
Assets: $20 - 100 Million
1st Place — Choice One Community Federal Credit Union, Wilkes-Barre
Honorable Mention — Wheatland Federal Credit Union, Lancaster
Assets: Over $100 Million
1st Place — Clearview Federal Credit Union, Moon Township
Honorable Mention — Diamond Credit Union, Pottstown
Annual Reports enable credit unions to share their financial reports with their members and acknowledge the staff and board volunteers who make credit unions what they are. In the Credit Union Annual Report Contest, awards were given in three asset groups:

1st Place — Members Choice-PA Federal Credit Union, DuBois
Honorable Mention — NORSCO Federal Credit Union, Norristown
Assets: $20 - 100 Million
1st Place — Mennonite Financial Federal Credit Union, Lancaster
Honorable Mention — Bucks First Federal Credit Union, Bristol
Assets: Over $100 Million
1st Place — Erie Federal Credit Union, Erie
Honorable Mention — Erie General Electric Federal Credit Union, Erie

1st Place — Sun East Federal Credit Union, Aston
Honorable Mention — Members 1st Federal Credit Union, Mechanicsburg
