Pennsylvania Credit Union Association Launches CU Now
HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association has released the first in a series of online videos informing members about Association initiatives and relevant credit union issues.
Sponsored through a grant from the Association’s Service Corporation, the initial pilot of CU Now profiles the Association’s advocacy, credit union awareness, collaboration, and governmental affairs activities. The initial segment features Association President/CEO Jim McCormack; other staff will be featured in upcoming segments.
“In this day of 24-hour news, Twitter and YouTube, we’re launching CU Now as a new information channel to more effectively communicate with our members” said McCormack. “We know video messaging is gaining in popularity; however, we’re moving forward cautiously, seeking input from our members in order to ensure quality and relevance.”
As new videos are released, the Association will e-mail a link to the CEO of all Pennsylvania credit unions. The Association will host and archive the video segments on its Web site – www.pcua.coop.
The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (pcua.coop) is a trade association representing more than 500 credit unions in Pennsylvania. These credit unions serve nearly 3.5 million members and have assets in excess of $28 billion.
