Local Credit Unions Earn Statewide Marketing Awards

HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA) has presented its annual publications and website awards during its 77th Annual Convention & Expo held May 11-13 in Hershey. The awards honor outstanding achievement in marketing efforts by credit unions for their annual reports, newsletters, and websites.
Annual Reports enable credit unions to share their financial reports with their members and acknowledge the staff and board volunteers who make credit unions what they are. In the Credit Union Annual Report Contest, awards were given in three asset groups:
Under $20 Million
1st Place — Wyse Federal Credit Union, Baden
Honorable Mention — Keystone United Methodist Federal Credit Union, Cranberry Twp.
Assets: $20 - 100 Million
1st Place — HealthCare First Credit Union, Johnstown
Honorable Mention — Choice One Community Federal Credit Union, Wilkes-Barre
Assets: Over $100 Million
1st Place — TruMark Financial Credit Union, Trevose
Honorable Mention — Service 1st Federal Credit Union, Danville
Newsletters are an important marketing tool enabling credit unions to communicate to their members. In the Credit Union Newsletter Contest, awards were given in three asset groups:

1st Place – North Penn Federal Credit Union, Colmar
Honorable Mention – Keystone United Methodist Federal Credit Union, Cranberry Twp.
Assets: $20 - 100 Million
1st Place — CTCE Federal Credit Union, Reading
Honorable Mention — Hershey Federal Credit Union, Hershey
Assets: Over $100 Million
1st Place — Riverset Credit Union, Pittsburgh
Honorable Mention — Erie Federal Credit Union, Erie
Websites are not only an important marketing and communications tool, but also a way to extend the services a credit union can offer to its members. In the Credit Union Website Contest, awards were given in three asset groups:
