Group Health Insurance
The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association and CUNA Mutual Group have worked together to offer Pennsylvania credit unions a Group Health Insurance Program. Because of our group buying power, credit unions of all sizes can offer employees top notch health insurance plans at competitive rates.
The Association works with several providers offering different types of insurance. We partner with Highmark Blue Shield for medical insurance; United Concordia for dental insurance; and Davis Vision for vision insurance.
Highmark Blue Shield
Credit unions may choose from a variety of health insurance plans offered by Highmark Blue Shield.
Highmark Blue Shield is one of the largest health insurers in the United States, and provides quality health insurance to millions of Pennsylvanians.
Highmark's predecessor companies were established in the 1930’s to help Pennsylvania's residents pay for health care. Offering employees the right package of insurance benefits goes a long way for staff morale and retention. Upon request, a CUNA Mutual Employee Benefits Consultant cans assist your credit union by providing a comprehensive analysis of your total benefits package.
Through the Associations Group Health Plan, credit unions have access to electronic enrollment and billing and, if eligible, complete COBRA Administration.
