PA Credit Union Association Hires Three


HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association has recently hired three new staff members:  Molly Snody, Director, CU Business Services; Brenda Walker, Director, Card Services Marketing; and Christine Seitz, Governmental Affairs Specialist.          

In a new position, Snody will provide fee-based services to assist credit unions in building their small business lending programs.  Snody, of Halifax, has more than eleven years of experience in business lending and holds an associates degree from Central Penn College.

Helping credit unions market and promote their cards portfolios will be Walker’s focus.  Walker, of New Cumberland, has eight years of experience in a number of organizations and holds a bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University.

Seitz, of Harrisburg, will work in the Government Affairs Department to monitor legislation in both Harrisburg and Washington, D.C.  A graduate of West Chester University, Seitz has more than three years of experience within non-profit associations. 

Credit unions are financial cooperatives that provide affordable financial services to help their owner/members to be better consumers. The Harrisburg-based Pennsylvania Credit Union Association is a trade association that provides legislative, promotional, educational and operational support for 550 credit unions in Pennsylvania. These credit unions have assets in excess of $23 billion and serve nearly three and a half million members.
